We are very lucky to have our professionals who not only look after the court but encourage everyone to play, provide lessons and coaching, make the balls and string the racquets.

ZAK EADLE - HEAD PROFESSIONAL

Zak the Head Professional at Bristol Real Tennis Club. He brings a wealth of experience from his time at several prestigious clubs, including Leamington, Jesmond Dene, Radley and Hobart.

Zak plays at the highest level and is ranked within the top 20 in the world. He brings passion and expertise to the game — whether playing competitively, coaching, or encouraging members.

SAMMY LEGG - ASSISTANT PROFESSIONAL

Originally hailing from Hobart, Tasmania, Sammy Legg is the assistant professional at Bristol Real Tennis Club. Having taken the game up at a young age, he has a wealth of historical and contemporary Real Tennis knowledge.

 A sound engineer by trade, Sammy brings a new and refreshing perspective on the game we love.

LESSONS & COACHING

INDIVIDUAL LESSONS with the Professionals can be booked at any time when the court is open, subject to professional and court availability.

–    £55 for a one-hour lesson with Zak and £40 for a one-hour lesson with Sammy plus 15 minutes of individual practice (court fee included).

–    £18.50 for under 25s who are not in full time employment, a discounted rate under the Club’s Youth Development Scheme.

JUNIOR COACHING continues as two 60-minute sessions on Fridays, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, at a cost of £10 per hour.

GROUP COACHING on specific aspects of the game can be arranged on request. Please contact the professionals for details.

SCHOOL GROUP COACHING is available for both junior and senior pupils as part of the Club’s Youth Development Scheme. Please contact the professionals for details and to book your first session.
